Growing in Faith, Together

Growing in Faith, Together

Pathway Students is a dynamic ministry for middle and high school students, designed to help teens grow in their relationship with Jesus while connecting with peers. Through engaging Bible studies, worship, games, and small group discussions, students learn to live out their faith in everyday life.

Programs are specialized small groups whose purpose is to support the practices and habits – the Jesus way – we are trying to support in our homes.

The S.H.A.R.K.S is our highschool group. S.H.A.R.K.S, because acronyms are fun! Students Happily Advancing Relationships & Kingdom Service. At S.H.A.R.K.S our aim is to help high school aged students build a personal and fun relationship with Jesus. We create a space where faith is openly discussed and the Bible is explored with curiosity. Plus, we have a blast with silly adventures like progressive fast food dinners, broomball, and movie nights, along with meaningful service projects both near and far! The S.H.A.R.K.S meet most Sundays from 6-8:30 pm October-May & occasional events in the summer.

Note:

The goal in our children and youth programs is not to take the place of the discipleship of the home, but to support it, encourage it, and add to it. Parents struggle to keep the family together in a society that has so many special interest activities that pull family members into their own things (their own music, clothes, activities, friends, sports, hobbies). The church has an opportunity to offer something new – how can we help parents keep their families together? So youth and children’s programs need to tie back to the home. They also need the involvement of parents. We want to make a beginning down this path.
